This was an actor who played a huge part in the movies that were a part of so many people’s childhood. No other person could have played Severus Snape to perfection the way Rickman did. He was not only Snape, but he was also the voice of Absolem (the hookah smoking caterpillar) from Alice in Wonderland, Colonel Brandon from Sense and Sensibility and several other roles. He was a phenomenonal actor and will be dearly missed.
